About the event
Immerse yourself in sonic bliss, surrounded by 50+ Gongs and various other overtone rich instruments skillfully played by the fleeting Tamburo Ensemble, a pop-up gong band from Mike's Gong Exploration Workshop! Don't miss this Workshop Grand Finale which can be described as an adventure in listening, a deep and lasting vibrational rejuvenation for body and spirit, a profound aesthetic experience, a moving symphony for the senses, and a perceptual rollercoaster. Allow yourself to be still and listen.
While everyone has their own unique experience with sound energy, many have found it to open pathways to relax, quiet their mind, balance energy, meditate, release emotional tension, retune internal systems, have a spiritual experience, heal themselves, inspire creativity, or feel a deep sense of peace. Our innate intelligence appears to use gong sound energy to promote well-being within. Simply lie back and let the transformative soundscape meet you where you are and take you where you need to go!
The sound immersion is usually experienced lying down on your back or a similar comfortable position, however you can be seated if you prefer. The studio has mats, blankets, and a few chairs available but you're also welcome to bring whatever you need to be comfortable - water, eye mask, bolster, etc.
