Hatha and Yinyasa Yoga with Shoshanna
Join me in deeply relaxing your body by practicing a meditative flow of Yin Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga asana with simple pranayama breathing techniques. This class is intended for all levels of yoga practitioners.

About the event
Yin yoga is a slow-paced yoga in which asanas are held for a longer duration of time. The long holds promote relaxation in your body beyond muscles, opening into fascia and joints. Yin yoga also incorporates the Asian principles of Qi and meridians. This class may include a “Yinyasa” style in which each asana flows into the next and is connected through breath.
Hatha yoga focuses on alignment of breath and physical postures and includes more standing and balancing poses than Yin and “Yinyasa”.
In both classes asanas are typically held between 1 and 4 minutes. All levels are welcome. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early and bring you own yoga mat! The studio has a few extra mats in case you don't have one.
